Covid Notice

Compton House gates open for the 2021 season and we look forward to welcoming you all back. The 'new normal' may look a little different and we have been working flat out to ensure all the appropriate safety measures are in place. We have done a thorough risk assessment and have a robust operating plan to ensure the venue is covid secure.

The safety of our members and players are of the greatest importance and we kindly ask you to follow the below safety notice:

  • No persons to enter ground if displaying any symptoms of Covid19, they should be shielding or self-isolating, or they have been in contact with anyone displaying Covid 19 symptoms.
  • Proper hygiene precautions, including regular hand washing/sanitising to be followed. Match participants to sanitise hands before entering field of play
  • No persons to enter ground unless their name and contact details have been supplied to Compton House Cricket Club.
  • After attendance in the ground, all attendees to report any infection in their household to NHS Track and Trace.
  • Strict Social Distancing to be maintained at all times in accordance with Government and ECB Guidelines. No sharing of water or other bottles or food. Sharing of equipment is strongly discouraged and any shared equipment should be thoroughly cleaned pre and post use. During periods of inclement weather attendees to return to own cars if proper distancing otherwise impossible.
  • All attendees should be aware that there is an increased risk of transmission of Covid19 virus in any socially distanced group activity and participants must be clear that they are playing/officiating in such activity. All participants must be fully familiar with the ECB guidelines on playing cricket and those guidelines must be adhered to strictly. Use own equipment
