3. ECB Club Mark

Clubmark and being a Compton House Cricket Club player, official or spectator.

We were awarded ECB Clubmark Status in October 2014 and will be re-designated in October 2018. This means that the ECB recognises that we are a ‘safe, effective and child friendly’ club. As a member of Compton House CC you are guaranteed that we have a base level of quality in all areas of Health and Safety and Child Welfare and Protection.

In achieving Clubmark status we are also recognised as having a proven track record in administration, player and facility development. The Clubmark award recognises the professionalism and our excellent conduct across many different areas of junior cricket. The Clubs next challenge is to actively encourage our young cricketers to make the transition from junior and school cricket to senior club cricket. This means we expect our members to treat everyone equally, display high standards of behaviour, promote the positive aspects of cricket e.g. fair play and above all enjoy playing our great game
